• 1 Box, Barilla® Penne
  • 1 Jar, Barilla® Pesto
  • 4 Strips, Bacon
  • 1 Medium Butternut squash, small diced
  • ½ Cup, Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, meanwhile in a large skillet sauté the bacon until it’s crispy and set aside.
  2. Add the pasta and squash to the boiling water and cook for the recommended time. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta cooking water.
  3. Drain the pasta and squash, then add to the skillet, top with pesto and cooking water and stir to combine.
  4. Garnish with crispy bacon and cheese.
